     The Coronet Cent, designed by Robert Scot or John Reich, is a United States coin that was minted from 1816-1857. It features a female representation of Liberty, facing left, on the obverse, and a Wreath on the reverse. It features a plain edge. The coin was minted only at the Philadelphia Mint. The series is a long one with a number of redesigns to Liberty on the obverse. There are many varieties in the series.
