The Liberty Cap Half Cent - Head Facing Left, probably designed by Joseph Wright (although that is far from certain) is a United States coin that was minted in 1793. It features a female representation of Liberty on the obverse, facing to the left, with a cap on a pole behind her and a Wreath on the reverse. It also features a lettered edge. The coin was minted only at the Philadelphia Mint.
